This food-additive-grade potassium chloride, refined by the recrystallization method, uses bittern from the salt-manufacturing process as its main raw material.

This potassium chloride has been recrystallized for an even higher purity level.

Made with clean seawater from Sakito, which faces the Goto-nada Sea on the western edge of Nagasaki, this concentrated bittern is a by-product of the manufacturing processes for our seawater salt (Goto-nada Sea Salt, etc.) and is rich in magnesium and calcium. While the primary use of bittern is for making tofu, this product has a versatile range.

This liquid bittern, made from 100% seawater from the Goto-nada Sea, has stable ingredients and minimal variation. We also make the product available in several varieties, tailored to different types of tofu.
