Handling of personal information

We recognize the importance of personal information and declare that we will implement the following measures.

1. We will comply with all laws, regulations, and norms that apply to personal information, establish internal rules for the management of personal information, and ensure that all of our employees (including officers, general employees, part-time employees, temporary workers, etc.) and other related parties are fully aware of these rules as we work to implement, maintain, and continually improve them.
2. When acquiring personal information, we will first publicly announce or individually inform the corresponding individual of the intended purpose of use and before acquiring personal information to the extent necessary for that purpose.
3. We have a Chief Information Management Officer responsible for ensuring that personal information is accurate and up to date and will take measures to prevent unauthorized access to or the loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information.
4. We will use personal information within the scope of the purpose of use announced or notified at the time of acquisition, manage it in an appropriate manner, and refrain from disclosing or providing it to any third party without the consent of the individual to whom the personal information pertains, except in the following cases.
   • When the individual concerned has provided their consent
   • When we outsource a part of our operations that handles personal information to a third party in order to carry out our operations
   • When presenting necessary information to a financial institution for payment procedures
   • When special circumstances as stipulated by laws and regulations, etc. apply
5. Should we share personal information with a third party or entrust personal information to a third party for the purpose of outsourcing business, we will investigate the third party, enter into the necessary contractual agreement, and take other measures required by law.
6. We confirm that the individual to whom personal information pertains has the right to disclose, correct, discontinue use of, or delete their own personal information. Upon the request of a corresponding individual, we will promptly take the appropriate action without objection unless special circumstances stipulated by law or other regulations apply.
7. We will rigorously manage the personal information entrusted to us and use it within the scope of the contract with the entrusting party.
